Bentley's Spectacular 2015 GT Speed Convertible Delivers Heart-thumping Performance

More power. More torque. More performance. It's just 'more' all around for the 2015 Bentley Continental GT Speed, a feat of engineering ingenuity that earns the title of the fastest Bentley ever produced.

The 2015 model, premiered at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show, showcases a number of impressive mechanical updates that elevate the already-remarkable machine to a whole new performance level. Powered by a twin-turbocharged 6.0-liter W12 engine, the 2015 GT Speed jumps to a hefty 626 horsepower and 707 lb-ft of torque up from 616 horsepower and 590 lb-ft of torque in last year's model. Zipping from 0 to 60 mph in 4.0 seconds, the machine strikes a top speed of 206 mph for the GT Speed, and 203 mph for the GT Speed Convertible. Bentley's trademark seamlessly smooth drive is delivered by a close-ratio eight-speed transmission, while a 60:40 rear bias and all-wheel drive ensure year-round stability and traction control.

The 2015 GT Speed exterior also sees visual enhancements in keeping with the internal ramped-up dynamics. A distinctive mesh grille over the air intakes and small winglets highlight the brand-new front bumper. The wheels and light surrounds sport a new dark tint while the brake callipers get a bold red finish. Designed exclusively for the 2015 GT Speed, a sultry new paint shade dubbed Candy Red is available for the exterior finish.

An all-new color palette exclusive to Speed models has been carried through the 2015 Speed's interior as well, with a dark-hued monotone cabin accented by contrasting color stripes running along the doors, rear panels, console, and gear lever, and contrasting stitching detail.

Along with the GT Speed, Bentley is debuting the rest of its 2015 Continental lineup in Geneva, including the 2015 Flying Spur V8. Bentley's 2015 collection will be available for sale starting spring 2014.
